A former Miss Gay USofA at Large, Miss Continental Plus, Miss International Pluss, and current Promoter of Miss Gay Iowa USofA Pageants and Miss Iowa International Pageants, Dena has set a standard for exceptional pageants and pageantry. Nova has been a featured performer on the Ricki Lake Show, The Jenny Jones Show, HBO's America Undercover and was honored as an Official Performer of the 2002 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Salt Lake City.
